We're big on chips and dip, and when we have our in-house dip competitions, things get heated. When it comes to the “healthy dip” category, there is always an abundance of salsas. Here is one salsa which really caught our eye and easily made it to our list of best dips!
What's even better about this black bean & corn salsa is that it can be made entirely from the ingredients in your own garden. The only thing you will need to do is swap out the canned items for your own black beans and corn!
- 1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 can shoepeg corn, drained
- 2 small Roma tomatoes, seeded, cored & diced
- ½ red onion, diced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1 bunch cilantro chopped fine
- ½ cup Italian dressing
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Red pepper flakes to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a large serving dish and you're ready to dip!
