Product Details

One .5 oz packet of Protilizer® Seed & Plant Activator makes one gallon of finished product. Simply open the packet and pour into a one-gallon watering can. Fill with water.

For New Plants and Transplants: Dip the root ball of the transplant into the solution; place in soil; fill hole with Protilizer® solution; backfill with soil.

For Seeds: Place seeds in starter cells; cover with soil to the recommended depth for the seed type; gently pour Protilizer® solution from a water can. Keep moist and apply weekly.

For maintenance of established plants: Apply the Protilizer® solution at the base of the plant and over the foliage every two weeks.

For dry applications: Protilizer® can be dry mixed in the soil or potting soil. The standard rate is 1 lb of Protilizer per cubic yard of soil. The most important issue is to ensure the Protilizer® is evenly distributed throughout the soil.

This product has been so important to my plants. This is the first year I have used it and my plants are amazing. I cannot sing its praises enough. I use it for all transplants and then once a month.

In the spring of 2015 I took (3-4) 6 inch deep plugs of soil from around each rose plant (for aeration and getting fertilizer to the roots) and filled the holes with organic fertilizer and perlite and poured the Protilizer solution down each hole. I applied Protilizer again to the plants and soil in a month. Nothing much happened for most of the summer, but I also had a serious problem of Midge inhibiting the growth of my roses. Once I got the Midge problem under control, I had the best fall growth and blooming I have had in over 20 years. I attribute much of that fall growth to the use of Protilizer. I will use it again in 2016.

I planted an hinoki cypress 8 weeks ago. Looks to be thriving except there are brown leaves that continue to appear toward the bottom here and there. This is occurring in a tiny percentage of the tree. What is concerning is that it keeps happening. The garden center doesn't identify any disease or insect. I think I'm getting the watering right. Do you recommend Protilizer seed & plant starter for this? For example, could this be helpful if this continuing browning is related to the roots struggling to establish? Many thanks.

We transplanted our garden center rose stock using Protilizer. They have never looked better.
